Mission

To be the united voice of disability sport in England.
To show that sport is for everyone and is a right not a privilege, for disabled people. To influence providers to include disability sport in all grassroots to excellence sports development plans. To campaign for increased sporting choices and opportunities for disabled people.

Aims

To expand sporting opportunities for disabled people and actively increase the number of disabled people involved in sport.

BALASA - British Amputee & les Autres Sports Association

BALASA's aim is to provide sporting opportunities for people with disabilities. Covers amputees and athletes with locomotor conditions eg cerebral palsy, ms, muscular dystrophy, polio etc. Sports include athletics, volleyball, powerlifting, badminton, bowls, archery, shooting, golf, table tennis, football and cycling.
